I admit, however, that once I began reading it, I was drawn in and found the first-person narrative disarmingly authentic. Not only was Michelle Obama\u2019s story compelling, but relatable. There were some early experiences she shared that were strikingly similar to my own growing up, which decades later, I can now revisit in a different light after reading her thoughts on the topics.
