Love this view of Great Run! It’s an\u00a0oil on copper by Patty Rice that absolutely captures the essence of one my favorite spots\u00a0described in House Key. Jordan first introduces us to it in Chapter Four, Jury of Peers: \u201cWe reached the bottom of the ravine that led to Great Run, a tributary of the Rappahannock River, where there was a clearing and a grassy bank that gave way to a beach of pebbles and smooth river rocks. He sat on the edge of the grass and pulled me down next to him. The ground was damp.
